Services for vocational education schools
Are you an accredited European Vocational Education School in the Erasmus + Programme?
If your answer is yes. Aie assists in coordinating your project Erasmus+ “Key Action 1: Mobility for Individuals”, according to your needs, offering support around all aspects of the mobility project in Lugo. We also offer our services in Portugal thanks to our recently collaboration with Action+.
Additionally. Aie is open to any collaboration with European Vocational Education institutes participating in the Erasmus+ Programme “Key Action 2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices”, with the main objective to develop a network of sustainable work connecting educational institutions with the employment sector.
What we offer?
Coordination
Aie provides a service to coordinate and manage your Erasmus+ Project in the host country:

Sourcing of host organisations suitable for placement of students as trainees.

Provision of Lugo orientation guide and information upon participants arrival..

Coordinate an introductory meeting between participants and their host organisations.

Oversight of traineeship progress through regular meetings with participants and host organisations.

Recognition of achievement of traineeship learning objectives through final report and certificate of completion.

24 hour telephone assistance available for emergencies for vocational students.
Accommodation
Aie provides accommodation for all participants in fully equipped apartments with wireless internet, and private or double rooms. All the apartments are located in central areas of Lugo, well serviced by public transport and maintenance services.
Transport
On arrival and departure from Lugo, Aie offers an airport transport pick-up service. Furthermore, we manage the public transport pass for participants throughout the duration of their stay.
Language Programme
Aie offers options of Spanish or Gallego language programmes. Given by native speaking teachers, these classes are flexible and adapted to the students’ level and schedule. The language programme aims to supplement the language skills acquired by students through the Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support.
Cultural Programme
Aie organises several cultural visits in and around Lugo to show participants the Gallego historic and cultural heritage. Furthermore, we organise different gastronomic and folkloric workshops such as “Spanish ham cutting and wine tasting workshop” and “Initiation workshop to human towers” so participants get to know the cultural and fun side of Spain.
